Textron Aviation delivers first Beechcraft King Air 360 in China for special mission service
中国四川成都（2021年11月19日）——今日，一架比奇360空中国王增重型涡桨飞机安全降落在四川广汉机场，标志着德事隆航空顺利完成向四川三星通用航空有限责任公司（以下简称“四川三星通航”）的飞机交付。这是德事隆航空在国内交付的首架比奇360空中国王飞机，将用于人工影响天气、航空摄影、医疗转运等任务。
Chengdu, Sichuan, China (November 19, 2021) – Today, a Beechcraft King Air 360HW Special Mission turboprop aircraft successfully landed at Guanghan Airport, Sichuan, marking Textron Aviation’s successful delivery to Sichuan Tri-Star General Aviation Co., Ltd. ("STSGA"). This was the first Beechcraft King Air 360 aircraft that was delivered in China, which will be used for weather modification, aerial photography, medical evacuation and other missions.

The Beechcraft King Air 360HW is designed and manufactured by Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company.

Founded in 2002 and affiliated with the Civil Aviation Flight University of China and Sichuan General Aviation Investment Management Co. Ltd, STSGA is the benchmark aviation enterprise in southwest China, with a wide range of weather modification operations throughout the country. Over the years, STSGA has carried out artificial precipitation enhancement, forest protection, meteorological detection, and remote sensing and mapping missions in more than 20 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in the country. It has also conducted safeguard missions in major domestic events such as earthquake relief operations, Beijing Olympics, national ceremonies, and National Games of China, gaining an enviable reputation amongst weather modification and general aviation in China.

As a long-standing customer of Textron Aviation in China, STSGA currently operates a fleet of two Beechcraft King Air C90 aircraft used for various general aviation missions. The new Beechcraft King Air 360HW will increase the number of aircraft available to STSGA for weather modification missions, which in turn will improve the efficiency of the company's weather modification operations and enhance its operational capabilities at high altitudes.

The King Air 360 represents the next generation of the legendary King Air turboprop family, building on its reputation of versatility and reliability. The King Air 360HW aircraft is a version of the King Air 360 twin-engine turboprop aircraft configured with a heavy weight operations package, resulting in enhanced mission flexibility. Two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-60A or optional factory installed PT6A-67A turboprop engines with Hartzell four blade propellers power the King Air 360HW aircraft, and a fully integrated Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion digital avionics suite provides pilot(s) with state-of-the-art touchscreen controls.

The autothrottle supports pilots in their critical mission of delivering people or cargo by automatically managing engine power from the takeoff roll through the climb, cruise, descent, and go-around phases of flight.
